Partaking in Lent

I have never understood Lent. And in this post-deconstruction phase, where I shift perspectives from how I constructed Chrstian doctrine, I find myself leaning toward the practice, thanks to my friends at Peace Chapel on MeditationChapel.org.

I assert that there's no power in any practice, no power in any doctrine, no power in any paraphernalia. Instead, it's the posture in which we stand while we engage with these.

Oh, how absolutely beautiful it is that our inner lives can be the mirror of our external. That our inner world can springboard our external.
