It's almost always interesting seeing how the mind props its head up to believe that every effect has a cause. It's always arguable until the mind slows down or altogether stops and what is seen is just that what is happening is exactly as it is: no cause, no effect just appearance. We stub a toe and immediately the mind races backward to " who left that there?" We feel a sudden sadness and the mind begins its archaeology ...what triggered this? There is an almost compulsive need to connect every dot to a prior dot, and that dot to another until we weave a chain that stretches back and back and back, as if by understanding the chain we can somehow be free of it. And there's some utility there, dnt get me wrong.
But watch closely. The mind doesn't actually find causes. It assigns them. It takes the raw shock of what is happening and quickly dresses it in a story of why. And that story feels so true, so solid, that we forget it was constructed after the fact ...something like a retroactive explanation mistaken for a discovery. In reflection, it seems obviosu that the whole architecture of because is the mind talking to itself, building a house it then moves into and calls reality.
And it's always arguable. You can defend any cause whatsoever. You can trace any thread. Two people can look at the same moment and name entirely different origins for it. LOL. Ultimately, like the egg and the chicken, the debate is endless because the question itself is generated by a mind that needs sequence in order to feel safe. So what's the point?
What is seen is just this: what is happening is exactly as it is. No cause. No effect. Just freaking appearance and it requires no explanation to be fully itself. Well, except for entertainment purposes.
But then again, is this living not a hunger games of sorts?
